The E-Eye treatment is an innovative, non-invasive method of treating dry eye, which utilizes the new IRPL® (Intense Regulated Pulsed Light) pulsed light technology.

E-Eye is a device that produces a new type of multi-colored pulsed light. The device works by emitting perfectly calibrated and homogeneously successive pulses of light, whose energy, spectrum and time period are precisely adjusted, to stimulate the meibomian glands in order to return to their normal function.

Simplicity

The treatment session only takes a few minutes. The patient sits comfortably in the treatment chair and a series of 5 flashes of light are applied under each eye in succession, starting from the inner canthus to the temporal area, using the prescribed strength.

Effectiveness

The results are visible within a few hours after the treatment, while a total of 3 sessions are required for the full success of the treatment. In clinical studies patients showed a 90% satisfaction rate in the first 2 treatments. This improvement is clearly felt from the first session for the first two days and its duration increases over time after the second and subsequent treatments.
